Anne-Marie Khawaja is a Kalkadoon Bwgcolman woman and founder of The Legacy Thread.
A first-generation university graduate, leader in the First Nations space and the first in six generations of her family to raise her own children, Anne-Marie understands what it means to break cycles and create pathways where none previously existed.
Through The Legacy Thread, she combines leadership, storytelling and lived experience to support individuals, organisations and communities to navigate identity, career development, culture and legacy.
Drawing on her professional experience, community connections and personal journey, Anne-Marie is passionate about empowering the next generation of leaders, strengthening communities and creating opportunities for those who follow.
Her work is grounded in the belief that legacy is not simply what we leave behind, but what we create for future generations.
